Unfortunately I can't do any of that.
That's the problem, I can't change or access any of those things.

Problem solved, somewhat accidentally.
When my pc got hung up I turned it off with the power button.
Upon restart i started in safe mode and somehow it allowed me to switch users.
I just started in admin and voila. Thanks to those who responded.

thanks, by stuff I meant all the programs I had in the standard user
account, cause when I opened the new admin account it was pretty bare.
No matter I just changed my standard account to admin so it's ok now.
On another note. When I turn on my pc it opens the page with the account name and pic,
can I skip that and go straight to my to my programs.
thanks again
There is a couple of way to avoid this screen your talking about. I can't tell exactly by not looking at your computer, but if you only have one account on your computer, and it is NOT password protected, it should go right into Windows. This is how my 7 is setup, at home.
This means-in essence-you could remove any other accounts, but if your unsettled about your knowledge of user profiles, you may not want to risk deleting the wrong one. If I remember correctly windows won't let you delete an account your already on.
