Thats correct - for Gigabyte....keep pressing DEL key at startup.
No DOS screen on bootup.

I was trying to reproduce the nice behavior I had on my old Sony laptop (running XP, but that's not the point). Namely, the boot-up screens - either the animation or the text-style info if the animation is disabled - would show in *their* native resolution (not sure if that was 640x480 or 800x600)...
I wasnt quite sure where to post this but when i start my machine and the "starting windows" screen comes up there is no win7 icon on the screen or anything. I just get a black screen with "starting windows" written at the bottom. Ideas? I'm not dual booting by the way.
