    Both sata cnnections,

    Would the Post splash screen show if the CPU was faulty.?

    Can anyone tell me if the Post Splash Screen will show with a faulty CPU.?

    Hard to tell. Depends on what is damaged on the CPU. Try re-seating it, have a look at the pins with a magnifier to see if there is any dirt, cooling paste, or if there is any noticeable damage.

    Also make sure you have connected the CPU Fan to the right connector on the motherboard.

    Unplug the cpu amd see how far you get on the bios screen.
