    ALT-TAB doesn't work anymore...

    Hello everyone,

Yesterday I suddenly noticed that my ALT-TAB wasn't working anymore, Ive searched google for hours on how to fix it but i couldn't find anything that fixed my problem.
When I press Alt-Tab, I get a menu with File, Edit, View, Tools and Help in the window that I currently have open but the little taskswitch menu doesn't come up. The problem is not my graphics card since the problem happend so suddenly and 5 minutes earlier I could alt tab just fine. The keys do work individually and all other keyboard shortcuts involving alt still work.
Does anyone know a fix for this problem?

    Thanks, QuadWar

    Ok.

Did some more searching. Can you please see if anything in these two tutorials helps at all:

    Shortcut Keys for Windows 7

    and also this one

Windows Key Shortcuts - Enable or Disable

I'm hoping you disabled it unwittingly and that your answer may lie in there somewhere. If not, post back here because someone definately knows the answer to your question.

    Good luck,

    Success!

I would just like to thank you. The 2nd link worked for me. I do not know how my Alt+Tab got disabled for me. I came home from work and did everything as normal, when I went to Alt+Tab nothing happened. Windows+Tab works. Anyways I went to the 2nd link, opened and it immediately worked. Thanks!!! BTW I have Windows Professional 64Bit.

My problem is that when I use Alt/Tab I get different results at different times. For example, this morning I used Alt/Tab and it displays the icons on top of windows. But within a few minuets it changed and displays the icons behind the windows (i.e., you can't see the icons). I know this can be turned off by disabling Aero Peek but that will disable other useful features too.
