Transfer Files from no-video (broken) W7 PC to another usable W7 pc?

How do I transfer files from my old video-card destroyed Sony to my new laptop using W7 also? I have the belkin easy transfer usb cable but that won't work since I need to activate it on the old pc. What other options do I have?

Windows 7/10 64 bit

Best suggestion would be to take the hard drive out of the broken PC, install it in a USB connected hard drive enclosure and then connect it to the new PC and copy whatever files you want. It may cost you for the enclosure but with the "dead" PC it's what you will have to do.

You could also mount the old drive in the other computer and access it that way without using an external USB enclosure.

Provided you find a power cable from your PSU. And you also need that small cable to attach to the mobo.

If there are multiple drives in the box, you can also temporarily "borrow" those cables from a non-vital drive.

Use sticky Velcro to temporarily attach it some place.

I do this all the time for family and friends; it is VERY easy to pop the drive in a USB enclosure and let the other computer have access to the drive. It is by far the simplest solution to file system repair and file recovery.

I'm looking for some help on troubleshooting what appears to be a device or driver issue. The device is the Roxio VHS to DVD transfer cable, and the Roxio support people couldn't help. I know the cable and it's software work, they work on a borrowed Windows 7 machine. So it's got to be a Windows...

Half of ram usable, and low transfer speeds since upgrading
I recently upgraded my computer by replacing my motherboard, case, and power supply. At first I figured everything was done right, and it took a while before I realized that windows finds 12GB of ram, 5.99GB usable. Besides that, I also find that my transfer speeds by usb are incredibly slow,...

Don't want to transfer user files with easy transfer
I migrated to a new machine using easy transfer. I copied my files (user and data) to a hard drive that I installed in my new machine. I copied everything back and it all worked fine. Over time (the last year) I have altered my config and even wiped the OS and did a clean install. My problem...

Hello. I have 32 bit Windows 7 installed and it says only 3.44 GB of RAM is usable which I'm fine with... if it doesn't count video ram as well. I have 2GB of video RAM -- is that included in this total? If so, how can I tell which percentage is being set aside for video ram and which percentage is...
