    funny line and shadow on all windows help


    pleas help there is a funny line and shadow in the corner of my screen on every thing except the login screen and the Ctrl Alt Delete screen i think it might be a virus but i have scand mutple times the line is about three cm above the bottom of my screen and about 5mm from the side it is on the right next to the clock i am running 7 starter on my net book it is a hp mini. funny line and shadow on all windows help-untitled.jpg funny line and shadow on all windows help-untitled-1.jpg funny line and shadow on all windows help-wth.jpg

    Hi if you right click the desktop screen and click view, and then untick Show Desktop Items, does it go away, let us know.

    It is in your pic two up from the bottom on the right, untick that box that says Show desktop Items. Ok Sorry Icons.

    When did this start, or was it always there.?

    Have you put on a windows desktop pic or something?

    Post a picture of your Desktop please.

    Use Karen's Window Watcher

    This will allow you to detect/determine if it is a process window. YES - there are many hidden windows on your desktop.

    It may be a window or an artifact. Have you recently updated/modified any drivers, esp video?
