Hi darkado, welcome to the forums.

It looks like the file may have become corrupt. There are 2 things you could try

    1, Repair Install
2, click the start orb and type CMD, when it comes up right-click it & select 'run as administrator'. Once CMD is open, type sfc /scannow. This will do a complete system file integrity check which will located damaged/corrupt files & replace them with backups of the original.

    Hope this helps :)

Otherwise sort of saying, his DL version was HACKED when he got it. If that is so the SFC /scannow will not fix it.. since it uses the BAD DVD to correct.

That could be it Snuffy, but it's hard to know for sure.
If Win7 was downloaded from the MS site, the DVD is probably okay.
If it was copied to and installed from a flash drive, the flash drive could have been infected.

My eyes aren't what they used to be

You are right ... my mistake for bad eyes and grabbing the wrong file information

Whenever I see "Bad Image" error, I automatically suspect a piece of malware.
