    Incredible bouncing screen!

Ive just got a new acer 5336 laptop win7 hp .
I've just set up everything but the problem is when scrolling
to top or bottom i get a 3 centimetre unsightly screen bounce.
When using google docs this is much worse as the scrolling and screen
    are really erratic.
I do not know how to fix this problem so i hope
    someone can help
    Kind regards al....

Hi altom, Welcome to the forums, was the lappy already set up for you ? or did you have to install the OS yourself ? you may want to try re-installing the graphics driver , here is the link to the drivers Acer Support: Drivers & Support Documents - Notebook / Aspire / Aspire 5336 choose the latest drivers

    re: screen bounce

Sorry i cant send a screenshot because, after the event the screen goes back to normal again .
this only happens when scrolling but it is very annoying.
I use FF3 and changed theme but to no avail.
    .
Ive contacted acer support and am waiting for reply..

    If you go to IE
    Tools>internet options>advanced>browsing
    Is enable smooth scrolling checked?

    Thanks for reply
Ive just tried that in FF and checked the smooth scrolling ..
Should i uncheck the "use auto scrolling" too? maybe?

    silly me!

Ive found the answer to this problem and its all my fault .
You see one of my add ons is called "YetAnotherSmoothScrolling"
and i thought all it did was even out the long scroll but when i took a closer look
its got something called "Bouncy Edge" and this was set to 60px so when you scroll to bottom or top of page it does exactly that...
Im gonna feel really stupid when the acer support guy gets in touch-"sorry Acer!"

    Thanks for your help!

Why would anyone want bouncy edge anyway?
