    Wallpaper Disappearing D:

Well at first my laptop was running Windows Vista, but it crashed while I was at a cousin's house and I updated it to Windows 7 using her operating system disk (because that was all that was there and I needed my computer)... xD

I have been using my laptop without a problem for maybe three weeks, a month at most, and now it's saying that "Windows is not Genuine" which is understandable seeing as I used her disk. I tried using her product code but it states either an error code or a window that states that the product code is not a Windows product, which I'm guessing is because of the fact that her laptop has this "genuine Windows"... It still works perfectly besides it saying a small message on the bottom right of the desktop stating "Windows 7/Build 7600/This copy of Windows is not genuine".

This isn't too much of a problem for me, as I understand that only the updates are disabled (which I didn't do the updates as it was anyway). So please let me know what else a "non-genuine Windows" can do, compared to a "genuine Windows" so I know where I stand.

Also, the one thing that does bother me is that my wallpaper keeps disappearing after a while to leave an all black desktop. It's not bad, but it just bugs me that it's a solid black background and it changes back to all black like 10 minutes after I assign a wallpaper. How can I change the wallpaper and have it stay that way?! Or can I not have a wallpaper with this version of the non-genuine Windows 7? >.>

Thank you for reading my long, blabbering post. I appreciate any answers or advice you can give to me. :)

Your cousins disk is for her/his computer only!!!
You are going to have to buy you own or go back to Vista!

I was thinking of going back to Vista anyway, I just did it for a quick fix while I was there since I was there for like three weeks and needed my laptop for homework and other projects... I guess it's back to Vista for me? D:
