- Press <WINDOWS_KEY>+<R> to open the Run dialog
- Type REGEDIT and click OK or press <ENTER>
Just use caution when editing the registry, as making the wrong changes can lead to more problems than you're trying to solve. Its a good idea to use
System Restore to create a restore point before editing the registry.
