    Adding item Open file list

When I go to open file, in prior windows versions, at the left there was a favorite list and there was a tools icon (sometimes) where one could add a location to the favorite list.

The data that I work with is always on the F drive and mostly in two directories. How can I limit keystrokes to get to the F drive sub directories?

    Hi MiaAccess
Have you tried to just place a Shortcut to the F: drive folder on your desktop.

If the application uses the standard windows 7 file open dialog there is a favorites section there. See the attachment.

Unfortunately it is not application specific.

I was not specific enough. It is the file save as dialog from Adobe Acrobat which brings up the "Save as" window.

Yes perhaps I will put shortcuts on the desktop. That should save a few steps.

Ah. Trust Adobe not to use a standard dialogue. Anther thing you could do to minimize the keystrokes is to group your various destinations into libraries. The libraries only point to the real folders so you would not have to move the data.
