I think I will still keep in dual boot with Windows 7 as I do now, There is nothing wrong with Vista IMO.

This. Keeping a dual-boot with Vista is very safe. I have my licence and I don't want to put it to the recycle bin.

We will do what we have done to all other past OS put it on the shelf until we want another laugh at why we upgraded.
Don't get me wrong Vista works fine on some machine and then on others it a total fail of an OS.
