    That depends on which version of Windows you have. Group Policy editor is available in Windows 7 Ultimate, Professional and Enterprise. It's not available in Starter and Home.

    Many (but not all) of the settings can also be found in the registry. I'll have a look later when I get back home and see what I can find.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this. But I've been trying to figure how to delete the wordpad search history. The problem isn't the "most recent file list" but the browsing list. See attachment. I want to do this manually without installing any extra programs. Any help is appreciated. Btw...
Ok I have a big problem here. Internet explorer is deleting my History/Favorites on its own. I just noticed it. Is there a bug with IE?
Greetings I've tried highllighting the entries and pressing the delete button and that clears them. But when I close and reopen the browser, they're back. I'd like to permanently delete them without clearing the stored user names and passwords. Firefox 3.6.12 IE 8 Help!
