no way to duplicate a file in win7?

In xp you could press ctrl and alt and drag a file or folder and it would duplicate it, I used to do this a lot. Now this suddenly doesnt work? Its now "move file" which to me is useless. Is there no shortcut to duplicate a file anymore? It seems annoying they just completely removed something. This feature also is in say photoshop for photoshop layers so its not exactly unheard of to justify just removing it! Very dissapointed as I like win 7

Ctrl changes 'Move' to Copy', Shift change 'Copy' to 'Move', Ctrl+Alt creates a shortcut.

    Umm ...

On my XP and Windows 7 installs, using the left mouse button:

    • Copy File - Ctrl + "drag & drop".
    • Move File - Shift + "drag & drop".
    • Make Link - Alt + "drag & drop".

You should see a screen tip (when you are moving the file).
When you press one of the keys mentioned above, you should see the screen tip change.

On my XP and Windows 7 installs, using the right mouse button:

    • Opens an option menu (when you release the button over the target).

The screen tip says "Move ..." but you should get an option menu, when you release the mouse button.

I used to use the right mouse button to copy/move /link files, so that I could choose from the menu.
I know the keys now, so I can just use the left mouse button. :)
