Multiple explorer.exe instances, hogging CPU and RAM. Annoying

    Hello guys,

All of a sudden, my explorer.exe has started acting all funny and started to hog CPU as well as RAM.

Sometimes, 8-10 instances of explorer.exe will be running when i have nothing open! As I am writing this, my RAM usage is at 95%, All i am using is firefox with one other tab open.

Im not trying to promote any other sites, but for time saving sake, I have put all my details onto another forum (which i didnt get to solve my issue on). It contains everything I have tried as well as logs.

This is the link: explorer.exe CPU is getting on my nerves - Tech Support Guy

If you have any solutions, please share

You will have to do as Cookiegal said .... get an official license and key using a 'genuine' copy of Windows.
