sfc .offbootdir /offwindir question
I'm trying to figure out how to use the sfc /offwindir and /offbootdir parameters.
When would you use them?
Why would you use them?
The best info I've found so far says they are for use when running sfc offline (Windows RE).
/offwindir=win = Used with other sfc options to define the Windows directory (win) when using sfc offline.
/offbootdir=boot = Similar to /offwindir, this sfc option is used to define the boot directory (boot).
So if I normally boot from C: and wanted to run this from Win RE, would I specify:
and if so, what does this do for me?
