Hi,
That is a little bit unusual. Sometimes, not always, this is symtomatic of a potential disk failure. How old is your laptop?
To check the health status of your laptop's hard disk, please download, install and run this program:
CrystalDiskInfo - Software - Crystal Dew World
Post the resultant image here so we can look at it further.
You also try running a CHKDSK using these steps:
1. Open an elevated Command Prompt by clicking the Start Orb, and then typing
cmd.
2. Right-click on the cmd icon, and choose
Run as administrator
3. In the Command Prompt window type
chkdsk /f and hit enter.
The computer will inform you that a chkdsk will run at next startup, so shut down the computer, and then restart it. When you restart the laptop, a CHKDSK will run before booting to Windows - it can take some time, so let it complete.
Regards,
Golden
