Creating a shortcut without - shortcut written after the original name

as the titel declares, is there any patch or something to make Windows 7 shortcuts not rename theirselves to "application.exe - shortcut" but rename theirselves into just "application.exe"? I find it very annoying having to erase " - shortcut" from the name all the time.

Whether you copy & paste or right click to create any shortcut Windows automatically indicates that it is a new shortcut not let's say the original on the Start menu or pinned on the taskbar. This is a normal process for Windows being seen.

A simple right click on it and opening up the General tab to backspace the "-shortcut" reference is expected. For simply creating a variety of shortcuts without the addition at the end refer to the MSDN information on Creating Shortcuts to Feature Settings
