Windows 7: How pin the same executable twice to the Start menu?

Another possibility is:

1) Create a 0kb file in Notepad
2) Save it as whatever.txt
3) Rename it to whatever.exe
4) Right click and pin it to the taskbar
5) Right click on the just-pinned icon (#1 in screenshot)
6) Right click on the icon name (#2 in screenshot, Office Renovations), choose Properties
7) Change the paths in the 'Target' and 'Start in' fields. Don't forget to enclose both paths in quotes.

8) Click OK. You're done.

Works for Pin to Start Menu as well.

Perhaps it looks more complicated than it is. In real (and sober) life, it takes seconds. In fact, I have a shortcut already made and placed on my desktop so that pinning any folder or file requires only steps 4-7. Of course, you can buy another computer, if that's easier on you.
