More specifically, can you tell me the path of the folder you're trying to change? Because it's sounding more and more like a security problem than a read-only problem you're having.
Unless it's your normal users folders, such as "Documents", "Pictures", etc. you shouldn't mess with them unless you know what you're doing. Those folders that are hidden by default should remain so, and are hidden from view for a reason, not the least of which is system and application stability.

If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behavior when accessing security features.", **You don't have to read from here till the end** In Firefox Support is where I got the idea that the problem is with the Read only thing. So I checked the * properties if it's Read Only(You guys proved me that it's not) & also checked if their is a problem with the Restrictions(There is None). I got all that thingy from Firefox Support, so when I thought that maybe it's not the Firefox's Problem, maybe it's with windows :) And that's how it all started.
It's not just with Firefox, but with other applications too. But unlike Firefox the other application doesn't show an error.
