Type outlook in search
When it jumps up right click and send to documents
Then just drag from documents to desktop
Better still when you right-click, mouse over Send to and click on Desktop (create shortcut).
For the record, you can create shortcuts to any of your apps exactly as you did in any previous version of Windows. You can also pin them to your Start menu or your Taskbar by right-clicking.
Yet another.
Right click outlook in the Start - Programs. Drag it to the desktop. It will say something like "Move to desktop" Just release the mouse button and then you will see you can copy or move, as you wish.
