    Credential Manager

    Hi,
I want to stop my browser from entering my user name - it is not entering my password. While rummaging around on the computer I came across the Credential Manager and removed all of the Generic Credentials (there was nothing in the first two vaults). I then went online to see if that would work - No. I went to my Live Mail and DID have to put in my password to have the Live Mail program open. I went to the Credential Manager to see what that password logon created. It created the email address user name and 13 Windows Livetoken):name=(my email address;ser... Then I can't read the rest. What are those 13 (token)s?

    Thanks,
    Barbara

P.S. Trying to remove user name from financial companies.

Have you tried placing your arrow cursor over the truncated entry?

In most cases, if you do that a small pop-up box will appear to allow you to read the entry.

    HI,
Yeah, they all seem to have to do with Live Mail.

    Hello Barbara,

You might see if this may be a part of autocomplete instead by turning autocomplete off in IE and seeing if it still enters your user name.

    Hope this may help,
    Shawn
