My laptop is a domain member of our Windows 2003 Server Active Directory. When I login while connected directly to our network, th elogin time is as expected.
HOWEVER, when I'm off-network and connected at home, I log in with cached credentials, but it takes several minutes (I kid you not!) after I enter my logon information for the system to timeout and present me with my desktop.
Where can I adjust this ridiculously long timeout? In WinXP it was only 20 or 30 seconds.
Running Windows 7 Enterprise, 64-bit, 4GB RAM, HP EliteBook 8730w.
