    uninstall problem

please help. i installed this file but there was an error before it finished. then i wanted to remove it but there's no icon in the remove programs section in the control panel. i tried looking in drive C my program files, in the folder of the program which installed erroneously, but there's no uninstall icon in there. i also checked in the start menu but i can only see the icon to run the program, no uninstall icon. so in my frustration, i deleted every file that i can see relating this program. In drive C, and in the start menu. but when i tried to install the program again, it says that I cannot continue the installation because the program is already installed. please help out folks.... How can I remove the program entirely from my computer... I don't know where to look for any more files that's clinging on my system.

The easy answer to this is to do a system restore to the point just before this program was installed.

So, go to system restore and then restore to the point previous to installation of bogus program was installed...

@ richc46: have ccleaner latest version and used it after deleting the program files, also used 1click maintenance from TuneUp Utilities 2011. but still, when I reinstall the program it still detects the same way, that the program has already been installed.

Never ever use TuneUp utilities, it can damage your OS, did you try Revo?
