log off instead of sleep...

So, my computer with win7 pro few days ago, instead of going to sleep when inactive for 15 minutes, logs off and thats it (just as you'd press win+l)...

It was working fine and I could swear I changed nothing but one late evening it just didnt work as I waited for win7 to sleep my machine like it did every day since I installed that system

I checked control panel -> power options, also advanced, nothing out of order here
also did everything from Windows 7 does not go to sleep and I still have no answer to this..
finally restored default settings for power options, still same, no sleep on given time, log out instead

if any of you have any idea, maybe similar problem to mine, I'd be gratefull for any suggestions

best regards

ps: I just noticed Sleep doesn't sleep anymore - just goes to login screen in similar threads, must have put wrong phrases in search. Will look into it now but looks very similar to what I've seen on ms help site..
