I think the upgrade is a good choice...

Is it possible to do a clean install and register the key with upgrade?

Wat kind of licence comes with this Upgrade? OEM or Retail?

Yes you can do a clean install.

It should be retail as you can pre-order it from Best Buy and pick it up when it arrives.

How can you upgrade order? I have an valid XP key x32 DELL (i think), but then I installed and used vista x64 for a long while, not legal copy (oem from torrent). Now I've got Windows 7 x64 7100 and have the key for that just haven't installed the key yet (still have one week). So can I save and buy upgrade key? Or5 do I have to shell out the full319.

I assume when you ask "can you upgrade order" you are asking how you order the upgrade. Best Buy does the deal, Microsft MarketPlace, and I believe Amazon is also doing it as well.

You should be able to buy the upgrade and upgrade from XP. Just remember direct upgrades from XP to Seven are not supported, so you'll have to do a clean install. You can't use your Vista copy as that is not legit and Windows 7 RC is not a supported upgrade path.

OK, can I do the upgrade clean install from Windows 7? Or do I have to reinstall my old xp system and upgrade from there?
