    LightScribe

Ok I just downloaded LightScribe on my Windows 7 32bit and everytime I put a disk in upside down for it to work the disk just keeps spinning like its trying to read it over and over and thats all it will do. How do I get it to stop this so I can use this program?

CD/DVD's have to be lightscribe capable.
I haven't tried using mine yet.

    Hope that may help.

Not only do the CD/DVD's have to be LightScribe capable, but the CD/DVD burner/writer itself has to be capable of it also.

There's several parts to making sure you have the ability to write the labels. Some have been mentioned, but they are:

    1. A lightscribe drive
    2. A lightscribe disc
    3. The lightscribe drivers loaded
    4. A lightscribe enabled app to create and burn the labels.

I didn't know the CD/DVD's were special until I went searching while ago.

I would have been cussing up a blue streak my first try with it if I hadn't went searching and reading.

I have everything else just not the need to make them.

Same here. It would have to be pretty special to spend five minutes burning the disc and a half-hour to lightscribe it.

I only do them for important discs that go into cases on my shelves...not for any regular, everyday disc.

A half an hour to Scribe?

My special Sharpie CD marker scribes then in about 10 seconds when I have a lot of words to right. LOL
