    Partitioning help.....

Hi everyone... I have come into a problem i guess. i have 320 GB hard drive on my laptop which is on a single partition with 40 GB free space... What i want to do is that I want to create some other partitions e.g one 10GB for temporary files and other partition for games and other data. Is there anyway that I could move my data and partition my hard drive so that only 30GB is for system partition and remaining is divide among others. I don't have any external drive or computer lieing around so all work has to be done on this computer.
    Can anyone help me?

Is this not the same as the problem that you solved here:
    A Confusing Help
According to that you have already created a separate partition!

No, that was different. I didn't know then how to create a partition. But now I am less on space. I can create a partition of only the free space that I have available. So that would be 40 Gb. After moving my files to that, I will get free space on C: drive but the newly created D: will be full. but after that I can't create another partition from C: and then after moving my data to that so called E: and then join D: and E: .... Its not possible with any partitioning program that I know of. all programs create partitions from free space available at the end of drive which in my case will not be possible after creating a single new partition.

Please post back a screenshot of your maximized full Disk Management drive map with listings, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu.

Tell us what is on each partition and what you want to do exactly. We will give you the steps.

Be aware that 30gb is too small for most users for Win7 partition, unless you plan to offload your active User files to another partition.
