Settings Not Saved in Windows Easy Transfer

I recently moved everything from my old Windows XP PC to my new Windows 7 PC using the Windows Easy Transfer. I then installed my iTunes and MSN Explorer software. However, none of the settings for these seem to have come over. iTunes doesn't have the name and designations for my iPods (the tunes are there), and MSN Explorer doesn't see the folders that I created for storing on my PC (though the actual folders were moved over by the Windows Easy Transfer).

I'm beginning to think that maybe I did this in reverse order. Should I have installed the software (iTunes and MSN Explorer) on the new PC and THEN run the WET software? If so, can I run WET again to fix the problem?
