Global Clipboard?

    Global Clipboard?


    Has a global clipboard been introduced into win7? What I mean is something like the Office clipboard that works with all Apps.

    I can't find anything that would sugguest there is, but maybe I overlooked this?

    global clipboard? It seems to me that the clipboard has been global since the days of Windows 95. I mean, when you copy something it copies data into the Windows clipboard, it's up to the program that you are pasting into whether or not it wants to accept the type of data, and how it will parse it.

    He probably means a clipboard that can hold multiple things, and allows you to pick and choose, ala office.

    Aye multiple items oc. I don't always want to paste the last thing I copied and it seems a bit silly to need to have Nopepad open and copy/paste into that.

    Check out Ditto (Ditto clipboard manager). The functionality isn't built into the OS as best as I can tell but I use this at work and it is truly a lifesaver at times.

It seems that Clipboard is designed to remember the last instance of copy only. Is there a way of making Clipboard remember more than one copy so that you can view the list of copied items and select which one to paste? Thanks in advance.

I am trying to put a shortcut to clipboard.exe on my dektop but can not find this file. I have W7 Pro 64 bit. On my old XP machine I had this shortcut on the dekstop because it made the Print Screen facility so much easier. (As far as I can rememeber) Can anyone help please?

Clipboard Shortcut

In XP I have a shortcut which opens up the clipboard so I can see what is on it. C:\WINDOWS\system32\clipbrd.exe In Windows 7 I looked for a command to make a similar shortcut but I was not able to find clipbrd.exe. Does it go by another name now or is it gone?

Is MS Office 2007 clipboard the same thing as Windows 7 clipboard? Does the manager for Office clipboard delete what's in Windows clipboard/ Gordon
