I want to make windows photo viewer the default for .gif files
I want to make windows photo viewer the default for .gif files. I can't find it in Sys32. I have Windows 7 SP1, maybe this changed it, it used to open .gif in the viewer.

Hello Britton,
You can right click on the GIF file, and use Open with (click on link) to select Windows Photo Viewer to make it the default program to open GIFs.

Thanks Brink, but the viewer option doesn't appear for me, see snip.
The enlarged pics won't close for me in the forums either without refreshing the page.

Sometimes Windows Photo Viewer does not show up in the Open With Menu; or the file associations have been screwed up by another program's installation.
It's path when you go browse for it on a 32bit Windows 7 is:
"C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Viewer\PhotoViewer.dll"
