    Need help

    Hi Guys,

    First time posting here.

I have a window 7 32bit and it is connected to the company network.

When the laptop is connected to the network via a cable I can access our sharepoint url, however when I disconnect the cable and connect to the network via wireless connection, I can access the internet and go to different sites, but when I try to access our sharepoint I get a page saying " Inetnet Explorer cannot display the webpage" Diagnose Connection Problem. ..

I have also installed all the updates for window 7 but still having the issue?

Is there anything I need to do?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Tony

Could be a corporate firewall issue - contact your sys admin.

I doubt that is the case since there are others that can connect.

Hmm, thinking out loud here...your computer isn't sending the proper protocal or login information? Check the setting of a laptop that does connect and duplicate.

I found out with XP and IE7 there is no problem, so this leads me to believe it has something to do with W7 and IE8

This could still be an issue for the network admin, if these other users possibly have certain permissions.

Anyway I just mean to say, if you indeed do have an administrator to talk to, I'd start there and perhaps avoid the headache.
