    Whats wrong with my taskbar?


    Could anyone tell me why it has this extra line above it ?

    Try a different theme, see if that makes a difference.

    I just changed to the Zune theme and its the same.

    Also with the blue XP theme :S.

    Is your taskbar locked? Right click the Taskbar and make sure "Lock the Taskbar" is checked, sometimes that makes a difference.

    Its locked :S.

    Still no changes.

    Have you tried to move the taskbar to either side of the screen or on top of the screen? What about a computer restart?

    EDIT: OP's taskbar looks like he/she is using XP. So i posted the above solution. If no, you can skip this solution Hatashi.

    Isn't that for XP only? I didn't think it worked on Vista or Windows 7 (I haven't tried it).

    Yes, he / she seems to be using the classic shell with custom themes designed for the Window's XP OS. The fact they install into 7 is interesting, but it's not surprising that they don't function properly. With all of that said, I have no idea how to make them fully functional, besides scaling the the bar down until the line vanishes as temp fix

    Sorry for the late reply, but I'm dual-booting XP/7.

    And this theme is on XP.
