Making a volume active ?

I've shrunk my main drive in anticipation of Windows 7 on Friday. Question is do I make the extra drive active ahead of time of will it do it when I install windows 7 ?

I just did the same thing but I made mine active, not sure if it matters one way or another but I am sure someone can tell us.

Thanks. Just wondering because it gives you the warning about making drive active without an operating system..

There's no need to change anything in partitions before you do the install. Windows 7 Setup will take care of it.
