Windows 7: win 7 cd wont boot

win 7 cd wont boot

Hi i leke to format my win 7 pc but its not booting from cd,as i pressed many times,enter,esc,f8 now im having the page to start win normaly or choose the safe mode,

it is set to boot from cd

what should i do?

Windows 7 is on a DVD, not a CD. Use a DVD drive.

Are you getting the prompt to Press Any Key to Boot DVD? What happens if you do?

Where did you get Windows 7? Did you burn the DVD yourself? How?

its on dvd
dvd drive is used
yes having the promt to press to boot dvd,but then im getting the page to start win normaly or from safe mode
its original ,yes i burned it my self because original cd wont work,with nero using save data

Perhaps if you burn another at 4x speed and let the program do a verify before it finishes, use this program at the link below, it never fails.

Where did you get original DVD which won't boot? Are you using its extracted ISO to burn the DVD? Extract again using Imgburn, burn at 4x as stated.

If this fails, write the ISO to flash stick using UltraISO trial: On File tab open ISO, on Disk tab Write Disk Image, Format, Write. Boot under USB or HD's on one-time BIOS Boot Menu.

im trying to copy it again using nero 9

it looks that the enter key wasnt working,but i opened a word document and typed few words,it worked.
