Windows 7 Desktop - Left Title Bar??

Hey Guys,

So I've been running Windows 7 for a year or so now, and I've noticed this on a few machines and wasn't sure if it was normal or not:

Desktop Screenshot:

As you can see, the arrow is pointing to what looks like a title bar that is minimized n the left hand side of my desktop. Is this normal and / or is there a way to completely remove / hide it?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I don't see any title bar where the arrow points. Try changing the desktop background color to something lighter, then maybe a screen a capture will show what you mean?

Here a better look at it. Looks like the wallpaper does not fit or the monitor needs adjusted?

What happens if you right-click on it? And what happens if you put your cursor on the edge of it? Do you get a symbol, so that you can drag the edges?

Why is copy of a file left on the desktop?
Windows 7 32 bit Hi Not sure if this is the correct forum, but I'll ask anyway. I quite often create word docs or excel spreadsheets and save them to my Desktop. Then I'll go and using drag & drop (and 2 windows visible) move the doc to a folder that doesn't reside on the desktop. BUT a...

Show Desktop icon on left in taskbar
There are some old threads on this subject which are useful but have become dated, so, following instructions, I have decided to open a new thread. The Show Desktop button in W7 is over on the right, and I wanted to move it to the left, but that appears to be impossible. Now, I know the W-d...
{title} was not recorded due to a conflict with {title}
OK as the subject/title eludes to. I have Windows 7 Ultimate MCE and although it's recording OK, in the logs a few shows give me a recording conflict with themselves. So like "Bones was not recorded due to a conflict with Bones". In the history it records Bones and then also has an entry that...
