Windows 7 - SevenForums W7 Registration List?

Sorry, i didn't know what to write in title.

I just had a suggestion. Since many of us are in different time zones. Why don't we make a list of emails of people who want Windows 7. That ways whoever gets to know the beta is released can register other people too?

Is this possible, I thought you had to log in to your live account first before you download? Am I correct?

Pretty sure you are right. Plus you probably have to confirm new email addresses.

That would make total sense, I have 2 hotmail addys so I'm good to go.

although not very likely to get the list together, that would be nice since i'm not sure if i'll be home when they release it. if i miss it that would suck

I heard that in vista we had to just give the email and they sent the download link and key to the mail? If its like that someone else can do it for the other person.
Though i guess logging in would be required too.

but you did have to fill a survey....

and of course log in to your .NET account(or what ever the call it passport if remember).....

Where should we register to get the email?

I noticed some sites have it but windows 7 site says come back this afternoon so hoping I can still get it, especially since I am starting a new tech job soon and really want to impress the boss.

Keep your fingers crossed I can get it (say a prayer too :-) ) as I really want and need the job and hope to get windows 7 all.
