    A little taskbar icon assistance !


    Hello,

    This is not a really big issue, but I'd like to not have duplicate icons on my task bar when clicked and opened.

    (ex: iTunes/Aim)




    Any help would be appreciated(:

    What is it that you do to get duplicate icons?

    I pinned the program (not shortcut) into the task bar, I click to open the program, and a duplicate is produced.

For some reason FireFox doesnt want me to use my own icon for it in the taskbar. ill change the icon, pin it to the taskbar, click the new icon and itll open up a new firefox default icon on the taskbar so there will be 2. anyway around this?
At Windows 7, I created 3 program shortcuts which execute same executable. Then I changed icons for second shortcut and third shortcut. When I launched the executable from the second and third shortcut, the taskbar icon of the executable will be that of the shortcut icon instead of the ...
