Disable hibernation or hybrid sleep mode in your power management advanced options (for hybrid sleep -> Hybrid sleep mode -> disable) or use the hotfix below.
There is a bug in SP1 that if you boot with a drive with a SCSI miniport driver
, hibernation (and hence hybrid sleep) do not work and neither does taking a crash dump on the resulting STOP, hence the shutdown.
