How to switch off 'wheel'?

How to switch off 'wheel'? The scrolling control only goes down to 1. My touch pad scrolls can be a nuisance, causing sudden unwanted scrolling!

Are you talking about the simulated wheel affect at the right edge of your Touch Pad? If so I believe there is a setting in Mouse Properties from the Control Panel that enables or disable this. I don't have a laptop here at the moment so I can't check.

:) Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes the wheel affects at right edge & bottom of touch pad. Control Panel / Mouse / down to 1 but not 0? Ref:

See the next box over, labeled "device settings?" If you open that, click on the settings button, you should be able to enable and disable vertical or horizontal scrolling.
