    Taskbar

    Hello,

For some reason...the screen isn't adjust to my taskbar, both in locked and unlocked options.

Which means there's some part of the screen that isn't visible because it acts as the taskbar is unlocked and not showing.

Even when I switch it to locked it doesn't adjust.

    Any clues?

Are you able to manually resize your Taskbar? Try bringing your cursor to the edge of the Taskbar until the cursor changes into a double-headed arrow and then dragging the border away from the edge of your screen, until it fits. Also, see if this video gives you some help: Go to the Windows website to watch the 'Resize the Taskbar' video.

OR, the problem may have something to do with either your screen resolution or dpi setting and/or Taskbar icon sizes.

Well...I can but then the taskbar is "taking over" the desktop, because that needed screen adjustment doesn't happen.

Use the snipping tool to post a screenshot of your desktop/explorer window or browser window to give responding members a better idea of your problem .

Also refer to the quote below, Imperfect1 has a valid point as these settings do have an effect

    Thanks for the clarifications.

Now it's fixed, but will happen again soon as this is how it was for a while now.

Can anyone say what should be the screen resolution/dpi settings for this problem not to re-appear?

I have switched to small taskbar icons just in case...we'll see.

    Thanks again!

    Taskbar resize

    Hi ,
My issue is when i resize the taskbar for 2 task button lines (which i turned in to a classical taskbar) there is an extra blank space coming below the quick launch icons.. how can i just make the icons sticked to bottom of screen. pls see the screenshot.
idon't want the space below.. But without that space you can not extend to 2 task bar buttons.
