    OS choice

i am having so many problems with things after installing W7 (for which i do not blame it, i like W7 so i look at it as pure coincidence ) i have decided to reformat everything and take out my old 80gb ide that currently holds my OS's and have just my 500gb sata for everything. i like a fresh start once in a while and i cant decide (i have XP and 7 right now) whether or not to have a XP/7 dual boot or Vista/7. i dont like vista all that much but i think XP is getting kinda old, what should i do?

Well if your going for a fresh start then I would say just stick with seven.

That's funny because I was just thinking the same thing. I think that's what I'm gonna end up doing.

That's because you spend more time with it! :P Nah, i understand. I triple boot XP/Vista x64/7000, and until I forced myself to set 7 as the default OS, i was spending more time in Vista and XP. Now that i've changed my default, i only boot into XP for gaming, and i haven't booted into Vista in several days.

    XP?
    Vista?
Since the public beta release, I've not used those other OSes anymore :)

I could say that it changed the way how I do things in the M$ world.

I only have them on VirtualBox to reproduce the problems posted in this forum and post solutions.

You just have to remember that it's a beta and should be prepared to row with the punches. Funny, even with XP and Vista released in full form, we still needed to row with the punches

hmm yeah well i can't speak for anyone else, but i posted here well over a month ago, and since then, i can count the times i have booted into XP on one hand.

7 is the new XP. don't forget it!
