Power outage during W10 instalation, unable to boot w7 now

So i plugged in a USB containing W10 into my computer, maybe 10 seconds later (while the icon was still spinning iirc) the power went out.

When it turns back on i try to load my PC back up, and i get "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key". So i threw in my W7 installation disc, attempted startup repair, and it found no errors. I then click the "restart" button that the prompt provides.

I reboot my computer hoping it would automatically boot to my W7 installation, but instead it boots directly to the CD, and then the CD says its not the correct disc for my version of windows.

    Windows does still not boot.

I have a secondary hard drive that has all my files on it, so if i just have to reinstall my SSD it is OK, but it will be a PITA.

Hello Jemjem mate to save the grief of going round the houses trying to fix it - I would clean that drive and just reinstall the 7. I know the updates are painful but this might help with them
