I have used every Microsfot OS since DOS 3.0. The only one I hated and thought was a complete bust was ME. The two I felt were the biggest upgrades from previosu versions were 98 and Vista. Vista was/is a great OS that got a very bad reputation from the start due to bad driver support (nVidia and ATI really dropped the ball in my opinion) and a hug and very untruthful marketing campaign by Apple. The Mohavi (probably spelled wrong) experiment really proved this point through and through.

I really enjoy 7 and have already pre-orderred copies for my wife and my computers. I am currently using build 7100. I have considered downloading a newer build but I am not in the mood to rebuild again until I get the release. I find that Windows 7 is the fastest OS I have ever used. Maybe it can take advantage of my hardware better than previous versions <shrug>; not sure but I do know it is a lot faster. The other features are nice, but not as big of a deal to me.

BTW- I have tried a lot of various software with it and have yet to find anything that I use or want to use that does nto run perfect on it. Photoshop, Corel Painter, Dreamweaver, SQL Server, Access Visual Basic, all kinds of games, all seem to work perfect. I even have soem old games that did not run in XP that run perfect in 7. Links 2003 would only run in a small window in Vista and it runs perfectly in full screen on 7.
