    Folder in User\Name\Appdata\Local

    I have a bunch of empty folders in C:\User\Username\AppData\Local that have number and letter characters. Like this
    {0E091B39-4B52-47D3-A112-2B4D5C09F64F}

    Is it OK to delete these. They date back to when I first built this system, beginning of March.
    Thanks

    Anytime you are thinking of getting rid of something that you are not sure about, rather than delete them, move them to another place such as Desktop, separate drive, etc., and see if things work okay. And, maybe this is what you did. Of course you can always restore them from the Recycle Bin after deleting if you don't clear it first.

    I prefer having them where I can move them back if I discover they are needed.

    They are temp folders that Window Live Essentials is putting in the wrong place. It is fine to delete them but you will get one whenever a Windows Live program opens each day. I clear mine once a week.
