    Hidden Folders

Hello, I'm brand new to this, so please be patient.
I have a desktop and a netbook with Windows 7 installed on both. I have created a new folder on a memory stick and copied files to that folder, this I have done on 3 separate occasions (2 new folders with new, and different files). I am only able to see a shortcut of 2KB each shortcut but the properties say I have 2.30GB data with 4.89GB free. I have gone to the Control Panel and opened Folder Options and checked Show hidden files, folders and drives. Any suggestions? Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Wazza70, welcome to seven forum.
Dont put shortcuts on a usb as the only work on the pc on which they were made.

Hi Wazza70 welcome to seven forums. Roderunner, I think the OP's post meant that they copied the files to the stick but can only see shortcuts when the stick is viewed in a Windows Explorer window....OP is this correct? If so, what AV and anti-malware have you got running?
