    Password to install programs.

In pretty much every Linux Distro you cant install anything without the administrator password. Is there any way to set up my windows 7 like that?

Set up a standard user account for day to day work. By default, standard users dont have permission to install programs. With User Account Control (UAC) enabled, standard users need to provide the administrator account password to install programs. With UAC disabled, standard users cannot install programs.

Set a strong password for the administrator account, so nobody can use it casually.
