First thing you need to do is go into control panel, System, Advanced, Startup & Recovery area, Settings, System failure area and uncheck Automatically Restart.

That may stop the system from rebooting and instead give you a blue screen of dead.
At least then you can see the error code/s and maybe figure out what is causing it.

Well that may be your problem.
I haven't tried to install a Dell OS on any other system, other then a Dell, in a long time but when I did, with XP, during the first part of the install a prompt would come up stating, "This OS is installed on another computer". That is because Dell OS CD/DVDs looks for a Dell BIOS, or at least it did back in XP days, and if it didn't see a Dell BIOS you would get that Error/Prompt.

Could be the newer Dell CD/DVDs has some type of built in control to reboot the system after X amount of time if it is installed on any other system other then a Dell.

Best to contact Lenovo and request a REAL OS DVD for your system.

And remember the next time to AT FIRST power on to created the system disks.
