Closing an object opens an object of same type
Bug, Anoying Bug:
To close a program, I right click the taskbar item and click close window. Half the time, instead of the window closing, Another window opens with contents of the same type.
If I try to close a word document, another word document opens.
If I try to close a folder, another folder opens.
It seems that windows remembers my recently accessed items and is opening one of those items. Sometimes though, I've already deleted the item trying to be opened (as in the case of word documents) and windows barks at me that the document no longer exists.
I've asked the techs here at my company and they know nothing about this. How do I stop this annoying behavor?
