    FASecFacX.exe is a malicious file related to spyware.

    Download the free version of this;

    Malwarebytes

    Run a FULL scan, and post the log here.

    Try this;

    SUPERAntiSpyware.com | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!

    Even if these programs don't find it, (Although they should, unless it is some new variation), it is invariably a file which directs you to spurious "security" sites, "Scareware", and similar.

    If you can find the file on your machine, then just delete it.

    The only other permanent cure is a clean install of Windows.

    thanks for your help, though my hunch is that i have another memory stick that died and the worry is to replace both of them only a few months after i purchased it does the fault lie with me or Dell if indeed it is a memory problem?

    superspyware came up with 9 tracking cookies which i deleted last night and this morning i checked and nothing has changed. elsewhere on the internet it claims that it is a regestry error and i was wondering should i use a registry cleaner programme to fix it?

    i figured out why it wasn't showing up on malewarebytes and superspyware it was a faulty aspect of alienware command center, i removed it with revo and plan on reinstalling it hopefully without any errors. thanks though for taking the time to help me :)
